On December 1st, private investigators will head to the Windemere Conference Center in Mesa, Arizona for the Arizona Association of Licensed Private Investigators (AALPI) 2012 Conference.
The conference runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and will include speakers, vendors, and educational opportunities. For details, PInow.com spoke with Dana Young.
Why is it important for investigators to attend this event?
Young: It's important for investigators to attend for networking, ongoing industry education, legislation updates, and continuing education requirements.
What is AALPI hoping to accomplish with this conference?
Young: We are opening this conference up to all legal professionals from all associations. We hope to expand our reach in education.
What training will take place in the conference?
Young: We have a criminal panel of investigators and attorneys, a surveillance panel representing the industries that primarily conduct a lot of surveillance and field ops. We also have two speakers on marketing on the internet and optimizing your website with social media as well as two industry guest speakers, DPS licensing and Process Server Program as well as confidential intermediary adoption locates.

What are you most excited for with this conference?
Young: AALPI is making a comeback, better than ever. We have had quite a number of old members that had dropped out come back. They will be attending the conference.
