Private Investigator Reveals His Side of the Story

CARMEL, IN -- After it was revealed that Carmel spent thousands of dollars investigating Steven Libman, the former CEO and President of the Center for the Performing Arts President, many groups called for an investigation. Now, the private investigators hired to check Libman is telling his side of the story. The city of Carmel reportedly owes more than $8000 to International Investigators for the investigation. The private investigator who owns the company, Tim Wilcox, has stated that he cannot speak about a client, but noted that his firm always follows the law. Mayor James Brainard also defended the investigation, saying that it was necessary because of "potential liability to the city" stemming from a complaint "under the EEOC laws or state sexual harassment and intimidation laws."
