WAPI Hopes to Get More Regulation for Private Investigation Industry

ENGLAND -- The World Association of Professional Investigators (WAPI) hopes to ask the government in the UK to start using the County Court Certification to regulate private investigators. The County Court Certification is already in use for bailiffs. Representatives of WAPI will be approaching delegates and MPs to get support for the idea. WAPI also hopes to have regulation of PIs look more similar to the regulation of enforcement officers, who are regulated under the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act of 2007.
